Memory, Pain and Sympathy

just a peek from chap 9 of my kai/hilary fanfic Untouchable.

Basically Kai just finished telling hilary the story of his, Tala and Jade's past with Biovolt, and why they keep hurting them still. Its a long, and painful story for Kai. But Hilary needs to know, because now Biovolt is after her too.
"Bastard" is of course his grandfather, voltaire, whom he doesnt consider as family.
When he says "I nearly lost them both that day" hes referring to Jade(oc) and Tala.
And of course, Hilary is morrtified, thus her reaction!

Note: about the picture. hilary is really sitting right in front of Kai, but u noe in anime, where they zoom in on the face. well that wut im doing, kinda like a manga form... if that makes any sense
also that glwoing thing in kai's hand is his dranzer blade incase u cant see it
